Get help with your unfinished projects!

Have you taken a course with us before but not quite reached the finish line? Maybe you have a half-finished bringklut, need help with the finishing and assembly, are stuck on some of the stitches in Hardanger embroidery, or have forgotten how the bobbin lace half-stitches were actually done? Or perhaps you’d simply like to set aside a weekend for pleasant company and sewing?

This is the course for you if you need a bit of help, a gentle push to get started again, and/or if you simply enjoy attending courses. You can bring any project you like within Hardanger embroidery, bringklut and belts, smøyg, blackwork embroidery, metal lace, sjonaleist knitting, or the assembly of shirts and aprons. The course instructor may also be able to help with other projects, but please get in touch in advance to ask.

The course is organized by Hardanger Folk Museum and Folgefonn Folk Art and Craft Association.
