Café and shop
You are very welcome to drop by the café and shop!
The café at Hardanger Folk Museum serves cakes, coffee and lunch dishes.
We also welcome big groups and associations in the café in connection with meetings, gatherings, celebrations, guided tours or other types of events. Groups and associations must book in advance, send an e-mail to: post@hvm.museum.no.
Café opening hours 2024:
May 5th – June 16th, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
June 17th – August 18th, every day from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
August 19th – 25th, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
During winter 2024, the café is only open on special occasions.
The museum shop
Visit the lovely museum shop at Hardanger Folk Museum, where you will find a good range of local food, handicrafts, books, music, gifts and toys.
We also have gift vouchers.
