Café and shop
You are very welcome to drop by the café and shop!
The café at Hardanger Folk Museum serves cakes, coffee and lunch dishes.
Café opening hours 2026:
May 3rd – June 14th, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
June 15th – August 30th, every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
During winter 2026, the café is only open on special occasions.
We also welcome big groups and associations in the café in connection with meetings, gatherings, celebrations, guided tours or other types of events. Groups and associations must book in advance, send an e-mail to: post@hvm.museum.no.
The museum shop
Visit the lovely museum shop at Hardanger Folk Museum, where you will find a good range of local food, handicrafts, books, music, gifts and toys.
We also have gift vouchers.
