Hardanger folk music collection is a regional folk music archive in Hardanger. There are around 8,000 individual folk music recordings and video recordings of folk dance in the collection.

The collection provides services in connection with:

copies of sound recordings
loans of dance videos
loans/copies of photos linked to folk music and folk dance
loans/copies of folk music literature
information about folk music

Hardanger folk music collection is a cooperation between the folk groups Hardanger Spelemannslag and Spelemannslaget Kvemmingen, Hardanger Folk Museum and the youth association Hordaland Ungdomslag. The collection was founded in 1984 following the approval of the four organisations.
