Poems, line of poems and quotes from many of our most beloved poets are engraved on the path stones.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, Hardanger Folk Museum and the Olav H. Hauge Centre organise \u2018Diktardagen\u2019 (poets day), where a new stone is laid by the poet him\/herself.<\/p>\n<p>The first stone was laid in 1992. However, poets day was officially established in connection with Olav H. Hauge\u2019s 85th birthday in 1993. This giant of a poet from Ulvik was one of the masterminds of the \u2018Diktarstien\u2019 initiative.
