text_line_height=&#8221;2em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]Over the course of 100 years, Hardanger Folk Museum has collected, received and bought Hardanger embroidery needlework.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to be able to show visitors the history of Hardanger embroidery over hundreds of years, based on this unique collection.<\/p>\n<p>You can see folk costume shirts that are more than 200 years old, embroidered tablecloths and Hardanger embroidery from other parts of the world etc. We follow the course of Hardanger embroidery through history, from Renaissance reticella, folk costumes, Norwegian embroidery and back to Europe and to America, Japan and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is richly illustrated by photographs taken by photographer Silje Solvi.[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;
